Registry for People at Increased Risk for Pancreatic Cancer
About the Study
This study will collect blood samples and images from people at an increased risk of developing pancreatic cancer in order to improve detection methods in the future. The blood samples and images will be used to research potential signs and signals of pancreatic cancer.
What the Study Involves
People enrolled in the study will provide a blood sample at enrollment, prior to any pancreatic surgery, and prior to any GI endoscopy procedures. Pancreatic juice may be obtained only if the person is already undergoing a procedure that involves pancreatic juice. These samples will only be obtained if approved by your care team. Research may be offered to people enrolled as well. People enrolled will not be notified of any findings. This study plans to follow care for 10 years following enrollment.
