Session: New treatments for hereditary ovarian cancer

This 90-minute concurrent session will focus on information on PARP Inhibitors.
Dr. Kohn will discuss:
- PARP Inhibitors; as targeted therapy for ovarian cancer associated with BRCA
- available PARP Inhibitor studies
- inclusion and exclusion criteria for PARP Inhibitor studies
- updates on PARP Inhibitor effectiveness, and/or resistance in particular patients
- other potential targeted therapy for hereditary ovarian cancers
This session is appropriate for:
- ovarian, and other cancer survivors
- parents/relatives/loved ones of breast, ovarian, and other cancer survivors
- health care providers who provide care to people with breast, ovarian, and other hereditary cancers
- social workers/mental health care professionals who treat people with breast, ovarian and other
hereditary cancers
