- Making the most of your visits
- Weighing bedside manner vs expertise
- The importance of expectations: yours and your doctor's
- Making up and breaking up
This session is appropriate for:
- people in the process of choosing their health care team or surgeon
- people making decisions about hereditary cancer risk management or
treatment
- patient advocates and support group facilitators who work with survivors, people
with a BRCA mutation, and people with hereditary cancer in the family
- parents/caretakes/loved ones of people with a BRCA mutation or hereditary cancer in the family
- health care providers seeking insight on issues of importance to high-risk people in choosing
their health care team
